Volunteers help support us in so many ways, such as: supporting a service directly, donating space, supporting events, office volunteering and so much more! Every volunteer helps us to run at our best, whilst making sure more of every donation goes towards services.

Bring your own special talents
When you volunteer, you bring in new knowledge and expertise! As a small charity, every new volunteer brings their own special talents, allowing us to expand and improve our current services, so that we can help support more families in the communities we serve.
By volunteering for Taylor-Made Dreams, you will be making a huge difference to the terminally-ill children and their families that we serve in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Essex. Volunteering gives you the chance to get involved with your local community, develop your skills, meet new people, all whilst supporting others.
Whether you have a few hours a week to give, or prefer to volunteer on an ad-hoc basis, we would love to hear from you.

I would like to volunteer. How do I get started?
We would love to hear from you. Please email us at hello@taylormadedreams.org.uk and our volunteer manager will be in touch shortly to tell you more about the current opportunities available and how to take the next step.
What kinds of volunteering roles are available?
We have a range of volunteering opportunities available, from supporting our events and administration to more specialist roles. The roles available do change over time, so the best way to find out what is currently on offer is to get in touch and our volunteer manager will talk you through what would suit you best.
Do I need a DBS check to volunteer?
It depends on the role. All of our volunteers will have an initial interview to help us understand how they can best contribute, and any role that involves contact with children, families, or vulnerable adults will require an enhanced DBS check. We will guide you through the process and make it as straightforward as possible.
How much time do I need to commit?
We are flexible, and we want volunteering with Taylor-Made Dreams to work for you. Commitments can range from a one-off hour to a regular ongoing role, depending on what suits your life. We will always work with you to find the right fit.
