Wood & Pilcher raise the roof!

Wood & Pilcher Estate Agents shook the roof of the Salomon’s Estate last Saturday when they hosted a SPECTACULAR 1940’s Hanger Style Charity Ball in support of Taylor Made Dreams, they RAISED a phenomenal £10,175.50!!!!!

Managing Director Jackie Morris, Director Steve Bovis and their creative team have been working tirelessly for the past year planning the very memorable charitable event!

On arrival, attendees were welcomed by a 1940’s visual extravaganza, and immediately transported back to yesteryear when Dads Army were found on warren patrol at the entrance.

Just as the guests began to relax with a glass of fizz, they were rudely shook by the deafening drone of the air raided siren demanding their attention, they were guided into the pitch black hall where Winston Churchill was to be heard reciting his speech to the masses! The search lights roamed the room back and forth looking for the enemy, and as quick as it came it was gone, peace resumed and fun and laughter was once again heard by the party goers. Dressed in their finery, service uniforms or land army wear, the room was definitely up for a grand night of eating, singing, dancing and roof raising fun! From start to finish the event was seamlessly managed and it was obvious that everyone was having a great time! The the odd spiv was seen skulking around showing off his dodgy watches and wears too, but it made for a few more pound in the charity coffers so no military police were called!

Thank you to all the people and companies who donated raffle and auction prizes, you were incredibly generous. A list of donors will be added at a later date date when all the information is collated.

An exceptional charity event which will go down in Taylor Made Dreams history…..”Do you remember at the Hanger Ball…” – We certainty will not forget a single second, thank you for choosing Taylor Made Dreams as your 2019 Charity of Choice, we deeply appreciate your fantastic support and always will! Rah Rah & jolly well done to you all!
