Sofia's Jewellery Making Day

This month we organised a jewellery making day for Sofia and her family. It sounds like a lovely day, where beautiful jewellery and wonderful memories were made.

"We had the most special morning with the brilliant Wendy. What a kind soul and so talented. Sofia decided that she wanted to make a collection of shell jewellery. This is really special to us as she is renowned for dragging a bucket to any beach and spending hours collecting shells. It was a definite ‘shoe fits’ moment. Wendy patiently guided us through and after selecting moulds and accompanying beads/gems(all symbolic), Sofia made something for herself: Large shell and love heart peacock pearl (faith and charity)

For the rest of us she made:

- Mummy: a starfish necklace and blue topaz (Sofia’s birthstone)

- Daddy: a small shell and shiny pearl (patience and peace)

- Freddie: a small shell and amethyst (protection and mummy’s birthstone)

- Bea: a small shell and rose quartz necklace (love) to be put away for when she is older.

All of the jewellery has Sofia’s fingerprints on the back. A huge thank you for making this happen. Another unforgettable memory." - Sofia's Mum
