July’s Sibling Support Service outing was full of creativity, connection, and discovery in nature. The day started with painting clay creations from last month’s session, guided by our talented volunteer Helen L Long. We can’t wait to see how they turn out!

The TMD bus (driven by volunteer David) took us to The North Star Centre, where we met with Penny, Anna from Children's Forest and her amazing team of mentors and facilitators Jack & Maddy.

We then explored the forests and fields, learning about the local wildlife. Through songs, stories, games and clay creature making, the children connected with each other and the land.

A heartfelt thank you to Penny, Anna and her team for sharing their knowledge and time. We look forward to our next visit in Autumn to learn how to plant trees with our TMD families.
