Mark's Marathon Swimming Challenge

We'd like to highlight a wonderfully uplifting challenge fundraiser. Mark Bachini will be swimming the equivalent of 5 marathons (131 miles) over the year for TMD! Mark started the swim on 14 January, and will be finishing in December

"After experiencing a serious motorbike accident in May 2023, after my recovery, I felt that I wanted to "give something back" after receiving such wonderful support and service from the NHS. I am currently still recovering from a broken sternum, broken back and collar bone, and a punctured lung, so what may appear to some as a fairly "easy" challenge event, is actually a huge mountain I have to climb in terms of acheiving this target." - Mark
