TAY GIFT IN COLOUR

In September 2016, Taylor's mum Suzi Mitchell trekked a section of the Great Wall of China. Primarily, the challenge was to scatter some of Taylor's ashes.  (The Great Wall was on Taylor's bucket list.) Secondly, Suzi wanted to raise valuable funds for his legacy, Taylor Made Dreams, a charity set up in his name after his passing in 2011. On the trek Suzi met Alexander Unsworth, a young man on his own challenge to raise funds for St Christopher's hospice in memory of his beloved grandmother who had, sadly, recently passed. They shared their stories and in March 2017 Alexander contacted Suzi and offered to paint a portrait of Taylor to commemorate what would have been his 21st birthday. Last week, Suzi travelled to Norfolk to collect the portrait. As you can see it is an amazing piece of art and completely captures Taylor, particularly his beautiful blue eyes. The painting will one day take pride of place in the foyer of the Taylor Made Dreams Centre, our future vision. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Alexander for his kind and generous gift to Taylor's family which is so deeply appreciated.
