Bentley, Hollies Little Bakery & Hotel Du Vin Support a Childs Wish

We are delighted that the prestigious Bentley group in Tunbridge Wells have yet again raised the bar in CSR by supporting Taylor Made Dreams in fulfilling the wish of a very brave young lady. As well as the support from Bentley, Hollies Little Cakery are also playing a pivotal role in making a very special dream come true as are the Hotel Du Vin, Zoom Films and Dee Luci Photography, please read on...

Taylor Made Dreams always aim when arranging the bucket wishes of our children, that experiences are made fun, memorable, exciting and where possible, we like to add that little extra pizazz!

With the help of Bentley Tunbridge Wells, who kindly support the charity numerous way, we have found the ideal extra special transport for a unique experience. Theo a brave young lady of 15 who is experiencing a third relapse of Hodgkin's Lymphoma has a wish to learn how to bake a 'Triple Chocolate Cake'. OK not so hard to arrange you may think, ah, but at Taylor Made Dreams we like to do things a little bit differently! We sought out the best cake maker we knew of and when Hollie of Hollies Little Cakery heard about our plan, she readily agreed to host a special triple chocolate cake baking workshop especially for Theo, our aspiring young baker. Super, we had a starting point and then we though... hmmm wouldn't it be nice if after the cake was made, Theo and her parents enjoyed an afternoon tea at the Hotel Du Vin where they could enjoy the fruits of her labour?! The Hotel Du Vin bent over backwards to accommodate this most special of events and arranged everything. We ordered in white roses (Theo's favourite flowers) to decorate the beautiful private dining area, a bouquet for Theo and also one for Mum, champagne for parents and an orange favoured mocktail for Theo followed by a delicious afternoon tea fit for royalty. We didn't want to stop there though, we had heard that Theo was a big fan of the Master Chef judge Gregg Wallace so we asked if Gregg would make a surprise visit and join the family for afternoon tea! Now judges normally present awards to star bakers, so why not arrange an award especially for Theo from Gregg Wallace himself...the plan was really coming together! Ah wait, what about transport?? We needn't have worries as the amazing Bentley team in Tunbridge Wells were ready and willing to help which topped the day off and adding the icing to the cake! A beautiful Bentayga, chauffer driven luxury car fit for the occasion. The whole experience was filmed by Ezio Torranto of Zoom Films and captured by photographer Dee Airey of Dee Luci Photography. A collaboration of several talented professionals people working together to truly make a memorable occasion come to life with love, laughter and a delicious triple chocolate cake. We genuinely couldn't do what we do without all the amazing people who make these dreams come to life, we deeply appreciate your support, THANK YOU!

Theo and her parents had a wonderful time and a dream today was realised.

Be mindfiul that TODAY, you helped to make a real positive difference, whether you are a corporate or group sponsor, an individual giver, volunteer or a professional service commissioned to support the event, a difference way made by you and that's what we aim to do for children at Taylor Made Dreams.
